Before Kodiak returns home with Lester, Shani, and others seeking shelter from District Two, Camellia insists that only the BEST huggers are present to greet them. 

The Competitors? Malloy/Jo, Stellan/Kat, Tessa/Coda/Jace, Ember/Mary, Ani/Helen, Jill, Calliope, Piccolo, Monty/Vos/Indy/Chica, Pointer, and Freddy. 

Rubrics are made and hilarity ensues as Camellia, Bonnie, and Arthur determined the best hugger. Multiple Upsets Occur.

Final Author's Note

  A/N: That is a WRAP on Sons of Light, and on this trilogy.  When I started this project on November 23rd, 2016, seven years ago, I was a much different person. I was young, I had big dreams, and so much love. Funnily enough, through the course of Danzon, I myself had my heart broken. And immediately after that story ended in August, the whims of fate of September brought me my own endgame irl. By the time Whims of Fate was over I was moving states, had my first job, and yet was still building relationships with people I met on the cursed site fanfiction.net. Sons of Light came right when Covid had ravaged the world, and as these characters have rebuilt their world, I also rebuilt mine. Setting: After Chapter 25   For how busy the bunker was, everyone seemed to be dragging their feet. Each of them had their reasons, of course, but the same was true for all of them: nobody was ready to say goodbye. The small little dwelling had been turned into a full-fledged assembly line.    “Hey.” Kat grabbed Stellan’s wrist and pulled him back from where he was going to go check on Anakyn cutting Jace’s hair for the fifth time. “I know it’s hard, but you need to relax.”    Stellan let out a quiet groan and put his face in his hands.
